Brief Summary of the Message
The message, “A Faith That Justifies,” teaches that justification is an immediate change in legal status where God declares the believer “righteous” and “not guilty”.
This is made possible by imputation—the exchange of human sin for Christ’s righteousness.
Faith is the hand that receives this gift, transitioning a person from “sinner” to “saint”.
The message emphasizes that righteousness is the cause of right living, not the reward for it, and encourages a shift from “trying” to “trusting”.
Finally, it concludes that righteousness is activated by thanking God for our justified status and “beholding” Christ’s glory to facilitate inner transformation.
